The service
SILKTRACE is a free, evidence-led SEO workspace maintained as a personal portfolio project on a best-effort basis. It may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. No uptime, response-time, data-recovery, support, ranking, traffic or business-outcome guarantee is made.
Your account
You are responsible for activity through your account and maintaining control of your Google account. Do not share sessions or attempt to access another workspace. Access may be suspended to investigate abuse, protect users, comply with law or keep the service operable. Google sign-in creates your private workspace.
Your provider account
You provide and fund your own DataForSEO account. Charges, limits, credentials and provider terms are your responsibility. SILKTRACE does not resell provider usage, issue provider refunds, guarantee endpoint availability or recover provider accounts. Stored credentials are used only for operations you initiate or approve. Disconnecting prevents new operations after the primary credential record is deleted.
Acceptable use
Use the service only for legitimate SEO research and site-quality work with the required authority. Do not access another user’s records, circumvent authentication or budgets, submit credentials you do not own, turn the service into a substitute API or network proxy, trigger unauthorized scans or spend, or use it for spam, phishing, exploitation, surveillance or unlawful activity. Do not submit regulated, highly sensitive, illegal or unnecessary personal information.
Evidence and decisions
Results are estimates, observations, classifications and incomplete third-party evidence. They are not guarantees of SEO performance, first-party analytics, or legal, financial or security advice. Do not misrepresent sample, sandbox, AI-generated, estimated or incomplete evidence as verified truth. Verify important decisions using first-party information and professional judgment.
Your data and intellectual property
You retain rights in submitted data and grant the service operator the limited permission necessary to process it to operate, secure, troubleshoot and support the service under the privacy notice. SILKTRACE application source, name, circuit-spider mark and official artwork are private and proprietary. Third-party software retains its own licence terms.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation or data accuracy. The service operator is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from the service or provider results. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and termination
Material changes will be reflected in updated terms and effective dates. You may stop using the service and delete your account. Access may be restricted or terminated for abuse, security risk, legal necessity or service discontinuation. Support remains best effort.
